David recently retired as Deputy Chairman,
having previously been Chief Executive, of Mansell plc after a 45
year international career in the construction industry. He was initially
with Balfour Beatty plc and then spent seven years in the United
States of America with AMEC plc where he gained a special knowledge
of local business practices.
He has extensive experience in corporate management and has a proven
track record of mergers, acquisitions and company turnarounds, both
in the United Kingdom and overseas.
He has a positive entrepreneurial style with clear strategic vision
and makes things happen. His knowledge of corporate governance,
the City, financial feasibility, risk analysis and the international
arena equips him to provide analytical solutions and support to
business in general.
At Jasper, David acts as a consultant in analysing the commercial
viability of potential investments and monitors the ongoing performance
of various businesses. In addition he is a non-executive director
and audit committee member of Jasper Capital Limited.
