Jehan graduated with a Bachelors degree in
Finance from the University of Maryland before getting his Masters
in Management from Said Business School, Oxford University, in 2000.
After graduating from Oxford, Jehan worked for the International
Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, DC. During his first few months
at the IMF, he worked on improving the predictability of the IMF’s
early warning system for currency crises by adding corporate-level
variables to macroeconomic data. In 2001, Jehan moved to the European
Department of the IMF and joined a team that was tasked with making
macroeconomic policy recommendations to the government of Hungary,
Poland and Finland. In this role Jehan became very familiar with
monetary and fiscal policies and the intricate workings of the IMF
and its sister institution the World Bank.
In 2004 Jehan enrolled for a Masters at Columbia University’s
School of International and Public Affairs in New York City where
his course work fortified his interest in public administration,
economics and international finance. After graduating, Jehan was
hired to work on the deal team of a Dubai-based venture capital
and private equity fund that focuses on companies in real estate,
environmental technology and industry.
Jehan joined Jasper Capital in 2007 and continues to leverage his
academic and work experience in policy and the private sector.
