Joanna is a qualified chartered accountant
with a wealth of experience in general management gained from her
time in the professional services and finance sectors.
Having read history at Cambridge University, in 1985 she joined
the audit division of Coopers & Lybrand, London. In 1990 she
was seconded to Coopers & Lybrand, Hong Kong where she was responsible
for audit, litigation support, corporate finance and many other
significant project assignments.
She then joined the The Anglo Chinese Investment Company, Limited
in Hong Kong, which specialised in corporate finance and advisory
services aimed at the small and medium sized enterprise market in
the Far East. In her role as Group General Manager, she was responsible
for all financial management of the group together with information
technology, human resources, company secretarial and regulatory
matters, as well as ongoing support to the corporate finance team.
In 1999 she was invited by the newly merged firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers,
Hong Kong to be the Chief Operating Officer of the Financial Advisory
Services Division, which offered services in corporate finance,
corporate recovery, liquidations and litigation support.
At Jasper Capital,
Joanna looks after administration, company secretarial matters,
compliance, human resources, information technology, marketing,
tax as well as many ad hoc projects and provides assistance to the
finance department in the United Arab Emirates.
