Biography Richard is an experienced management consultant with nearly 30 years’ experience of providing consultancy services to clients in both the United Kingdom and overseas. A partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and its predecessor firm Coopers & Lybrand from 1982 to 2002, Richard acted as the partner with regional responsibility for the Middle East, including a period of residence in Iran. Prior to joining Coopers & Lybrand, Richard worked in the advertising and communications sector. During his career, Richard has focused on a number of industrial sectors including communications, manufacturing, shipping, aviation and oil and gas, and has also worked with the public sector. Most recently, Richard was a partner in the Information, Communications and Entertainment Practice with responsibility for finance and cost management consulting covering finance systems, finance transformation, performance management and costing in primarily the telecoms sector. He has led major assignments involving the development and implementation of strategies for business improvement, financial accounting, costing and information systems. He is a graduate of London University and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant. |
