Shahin graduated in 1998 with a Masters degree
in business accounting and finance from Pune University, India.
In 2000, he obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Said
Business School, Oxford University.
Shahin began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in India and
spent two years in the Audit and Transaction Support Group. During
this period he worked on a number of due-diligence and corporate
finance deals in various industry sectors.
Following the successful completion of his MBA degree in 2000, Shahin
joined the International Team of HSBC Investment Banking in London,
acting as a team member on corporate finance transactions in Central
and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Shahin has been a key
member of the execution team on a number of transactions completed
in the consumer, utilities, technology, tobacco and healthcare sectors.
Shahin has substantial experience of executing transactions in various
product areas including privatisations, acquisitions, private placement,
start-up capital and trade sales. Shahin joined Jasper Capital following
a successful venture capital raising for a technology firm based
in New York.
Shahin is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.
