Biography
Tarik graduated with a high honours degree in management from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University New York and while studying his masters, he received the scholarship of Turkish Educational Foundation.

Having completed his studies, Tarik began his career with the Shell Company of Turkey Limited. While working there he was mainly involved in the procurement of crude oil, base oil and additives and in refinery programming. After four years at Shell, he continued his career by joining Interbank in Istanbul to establish the construction finance department where he headed The Team providing financial services to major Turkish construction contractors.

Thereafter, he moved to Emlak Bank and organised construction finance business. While working for Emlak Bank he visited Saudi Arabia and Libya on numerous occasions to help bring solutions to his clients using local project administration. Later at Emlak Bank, he established the Corporate Investment Services Department to help raise funds for the bank through syndications at an international scale, as well as the financing of several major projects.

Before joining Jasper, Tarik served as Assistant General Manager at United Investment Bank, Raks Foreign Trade Company, Fortis Factoring and Gals Textile. Tarik is fluent in Turkish, English and German.
